Robredo: BBM should be banned from public office

Vice President Leni Robredo in earlier interviews once said that fellow VP aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. should be banned from working in a public office for his entire lifetime, considering the magnitude of wealth his family stole and the human rights abuses that that were committed during Martial Law.

“With the magnitude of wealth that was robbed from us, dapat sana oo,” she responded upon being asked if she believes that the Marcos family should  be perpetually disqualified from public office.

She further reiterated her belief that if Marcos would be elected to a post as high as vice presidency, we would be a laughing stock of the world.

“Talagang naniniwala ako na if he (Bongbong) would be elected to office, lalo na for something as high as the vice presidency, parang laughing stock of the world tayo,” Robredo said in an interview with Karen Davila at ANC’s Headstart. Robredo did not mince words as she strongly criticized the Marcoses for “brainwashing” the Filipinos even before the start of the campaign period.

“It didn’t start at the start of the campaign period. Parang the brainwashing really started many years na. Maraming nakalimot eh. Tingin ko dapat sana after EDSA happened, naging very conscious tayo to instill this. Naging part siya ng kwento, Naging part siya ng mga tinuturo sa paaralan. Iyong consciousness nandiyan,” she said.

Robredo beat Marcos in the elections by 263,473 votes.

P1.2 Billion from Yolanda Funds paid to 36 celebrity endorsers of Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo

An ex-Liberal Party chair in Western Visayas who picked from the party to support Sen. Grace Poe, uncovered that P1.2 Billion of Yolanda funds was paid to no less than 36 celebrity endorsers of presidential bet Mar Roxas.

On thursday, a congressman from Negros Occidental told local radio station DYLR Bacolod, that one reason why he surrendered from the party is the "lavish spending of people's money".


"Our local politicians who needed funds for their campaign were left behind because the party had prioritized Mar and Leni. The overspending on useless celebrity endorsements is just unacceptable", the solon said.

Mar Roxas said celebrities who endorsed him are not paid and they are doing it willfully, but veteran showbiz talkshow host and reporter Cristy Fermin rebutted the claim, saying celebrities are paid as much as 20 million. 

Fermin refers to Kathryn Bernardo as an example, who allegedly got 20 million - a move that allegedly angered INC that prompted her expulsion from the powerful religious group.

Roxas celebrity endorsers includes mainly from ABS-CBN talents headed by Kris Aquino, Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Karla Abellana and Ruffa Mae Quinto among others. 


We had no problem helping Mar. The issue is, he is spending people's money that was intended for Yolanda victims, and we, here in Visayas can't simply endure", the congressman said.

Dr. Maghuyop is providing offer healthcare programs for pregnant/postpartum women. The physician directory Lifescript also lists Maghuyop under "Doctors in Brockton, MA who treat or diagnose Pregnanct."


Thinking Pinoy asked "What debt of gratitude does Leni owe to Dr. Maghuyop for her to prioritize him over Bicolandia?"

The article leave an interesting observation to the readers.

"FIRST, Dr. Maghuyop is a geriatrician. Geriatrics covers menopause, as evidenced by menopause being a common topic in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.

BREAKING NEWS: Leni inakusahan ng anomalya sa P64-M sa isang fish port project!

Leni accused of anomalies in P64-M fish port project by a fisherfolk movement yesterday.

In 2012, a total of P78.6 million of DAP funds was given through the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) for the proposed Calabanga municipal fish port which will be constructed in Robredo's district.

“It is peculiar that the port has remained non-existent despite its P64 million funding which included P14 million for its maintenance and repair,” said  Salvador France, vice chairperson of the Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas (Pamalakaya)

France stated that “Robredo was the proponent of the municipal fish port in Calabanga, the lone fishing municipality of the 3rd District of Camarines Sur. It was given an allocation of P50 million in 2012 by the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) and P78.6 million by the PFDA, both funds derived from the unconstitutional DAP.” He said.

France remembered that PFDA released only P64 million for the fish port before the Supreme Court declared DAP unconstitutional.

“Out of the P78.6 million, P64 million was released for the Calabanga municipal fish port to cover P50 million for the construction of the port and a 5-toner ice plant and P14 million is for the repair and improvement of breakwater,” France said.

The  Commission on Audit (COA) has stated that, “although a significant part of the DAP funds went to PFDA for Calabanga fish port alone, the project has yet to be finished and no report on the allocated budget has ever been made.”

Meanwhile, Pamalakaya told Calabanga Mayor Eduardo Severino that the concretes roads were already built within the said port area but have already shown existing cracks, denoting that  the materials that were used in the project are substandard.

France stated that the PFDA and Robredo will be held accountable for this and also, the officials of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) for the billions of pesos misused and unspent funds that are supposedly for the welfare of poor fishers.

Rigoberto Tiglao: Duterte should remove Leni of Cabinet position, give it to Marcos instead

Former politician now prominent journalist Rigoberto Tiglao voiced out that President Rodrigo  Duterte should have Vice President Leni Robredo removed of her cabinet position.

Robredo now chairs the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council.

The Vice President recently criticized the burial of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, a move orchestrated by Duterte.

“I can’t understand why Duterte keeps Robredo in his Cabinet when she keeps on criticizing him, openly disagreeing with his policies (like the Marcos burial).” he wrote.

“She can’t be removed of course as VP (except through impeachment), but Duterte can remove her from the posts he appointed her to. Para asarin siya, let Marcos jr. replace her.” he added.

Tiglao said if Robredo can’t accept the major policy of the President, then she should “immediately resign”.

SHOCKING NEWS: LP plan to replace Duterte with Leni Robredo? - Must Read This!

I made many predictions in the past most of which happened. This is a gift from God who continues to guide and inspire me.

In my postings a few days ago, I talked of the Opposition plan to destroy Duterte. Today around the world black propaganda about our president is being spread by foreign media, particularly in the US and Australia whose ambassadors here have received a scolding from Duterte not to meddle in our internal affairs.

I also wrote about the LP plan to replace Duterte with Leni Robredo. The LP spokesman Philip Lustre responsible for many attacks against Duterte on fb posted recently that Leni is being told to be ready to take over which is what I had said a few days ago. The LP is confident its plan will succeed because it believes the US government is amenable to the idea.

This is what I meant when I wrote in previous postings that our country and its president face imminent danger.

If we do not act to pre-empt this threat by the people granting Duterte revolutionary powers, I said, it could be too late. The time to act is now.

The Opposition is trying to gain control of the social media. Expect many distortions and disinformation in the days ahead. Dutertistas, beware.

Check the sources carefully before reacting emotionally. It is part of the Opposition plan to confuse people by discrediting the president with all kind of false stories.

I also advise the president’s security to guard carefully the president. There are several assassination plots being hatched with the connivance of Antonio Trillanes and Marcelo Garbo.

I foresee things to get worse before they get better. The Opposition is desperate and desperate people do desperate things. As I posted some time back, it will be a fight to the finish and it could be bloody.

While the nation is mourning in the wake of the Davao blast killing scores of people, VP Robredo was allegedly partying somewhere with old school pals in Naga City.
According to the caption that came with the post of an unidentified website, VP Robredo allegedly requested the partygoers not to take photos of the VP. But in the age of social media, someone defied the request and posted it online.

 How true is this claim that amid the public mourning over the Davao disaster and while the President poured over security details with his staff and took the time to visit the victims and investigate the bombing site, the VP was allegedly busy partying with her former schoolmates in Naga? Early on, party goers were requested not to take photos of the VP. But in the age of selfies and social media, who could stop them?
