Breaking News! Duterte Named 5 Generals Involved In Illegal Drugs. Must Read This! [Updated with Video]


[Updated] Just in! President Rodrigo Duterte has publicly announced five police officers who allegedly are involved in illegal drug business in his continued fight against drugs, criminality and corruption.


In his speech as the honored guest at the Philippine Air Force's (PAF) celebration of its 69th anniversary at Clark Air Base, President Duterte ordered the following officers to taken out of their positions:


  • General Marcelo Garbo,
  • General Vicente Loot,
  • General Bernardo Diaz,
  • General Joel Pagdilao,
  • General Edgardo Tinio.
Loot is not in the Philippine National Police anymore. He is the current mayor of Daanbantayan, Cebu province.

Duterte released those other officers mentioned that still in the police service of their duties and ordered the National Police Commission (Napolcom) to investigate them.

A Philippine Star report earlier said Diaz and Garbo, along with three other officials, were spotted meeting with a staff member of Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas in Novotel in Araneta Center, Quezon City before the May elections.

The generals, which included Director Generoso Cerbo Jr., chief of the PNP directorate for intelligence, and C/Supts. Renier Idio and Ronald Santos, denied attending a political gathering, insisting that it was a mere personal get-together with a retired officer who happens to be in the Roxas camp.
