Gilas Pilipinas guards get their moment vs NBA star Tony Parker. Must Read This!

The minute Jayson Castro had the ball and stood eye-to-eye with Tony Parker when the Philippines tackled France Tuesday night, the foresight for the matchup the group needed to see was tangible.

The scene rehashed itself when Terrence Romeo wiped his tennis shoes with his hands and checked in halfway through the main quarter with Parker yet to sit down.

Parker, however, showed signs of improvement of Castro and Romeo. He completed with 21 focuses, four bounce back and six helps with almost 30 minutes of activity to lead France's 93-84 triumph.

Romeo ended up with 19 focuses while Castro had 14 as both figured out how to leave a significant impression from Parker.

"They were truly great. They were extremely forceful. They attempt to get stuff going. They were forceful heading off to the crate and make open shots for their partners and they play really well," Parker said.
