Baste Duterte’s Reaction on His Father, President Rodrigo Duterte’s critics and loss of Sara’s twins during her pregnancy.

Being unaffected by the issues, controversies, and unceasing criticism for the President is the reaction of Baste, the youngest son of Rodrigo Duterte. Baste was already used to political jobs directed to his father and to all people who criticize his father for over two decades being in the politics.

He told the reporters that criticism will always happen in the politics for he is already a son of Rodrigo for 28 years. So the family Duterte has already learned to be unaffected and live with criticism of other people.

The young Duterte also said however he’s still affected but he learned how to be numb for all the negative opinion coming from other people. Baste also said that they don’t care whatever people may see people who live in Mindanao instead they are proud.

Also, Sara’s pregnancy has also mentioned by Baste regarding Sara’s loss of two out of three babies in her womb.

“She’s okay, okay naman siya. Yes, she lost the twins but there is still one more so she’s resting, she’s always resting. Maybe trying to go to work, but not really working araw-araw siguro sa opisina [but not really working in the office every day]. She needs to be careful to take care of the baby,” said by Baste quoted by ABS-CBN.
