JUST IN: ABS-CBN cameraman arrested in Quezon City drug buy-bust

Friday, December 30, ABS-CBN cameraman was arrested in Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City.

During a drug buy-bust operation, suspected methaphetamine hydrochloride, drug paraphernalia and money were recovered from a studio camera operator named Anthony Martin.

Methamphetamine hydrochloride was also known as shabu.

However, Martin denied any of the things inside the package.

According to him, he was only instructed by a certain "Buddy" to deliver the package in exchange for P3,500.

"May pinadala lang sa aking 'yung pinanggalingan ko, sir... Buddy ang pangalan... Magbabayad lang sa akin sir, kasi nangungutang ako sa kanya," Martin said.

"Ihahatid ko lang po, isang give, tapos alis na po," he added.


Martin will be brought to Quezon City Police Station 7 for booking and processing.
