The Martial Law Special Action Group (ML SAG) carried out the raid after securing a warrant from a court in Cagayan de Oro City to conduct a search at Salic's two-storey residence in Xavier Estates Subdivision in Cagayan de Oro.
ML SAG is composed of members of the military, the police's Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Northern Mindanao Police, Cagayan de Oro City Police Office, and the anti-illegal drugs agency.
They seized ten sacks of suspected shabu each with an estimated value of ₱15,000, three pieces of cellophane with shabu residue, 120 live ammunition, four M203 grenade launchers, and an M16.
The team also confiscated a holster and a gunbox in the room of Salic's nephew, and a Toyota Fortuner with a suspected gun bag.
Authorities said Salic and his daughter-in-law refused to sign the warrant receipt.
Police Regional Office-10 spokesperson Lemuel Gonda said Salic will remain in CIDG custody pending the filing of rebellion charges.
Salic was arrested Thursday at a checkpoint in San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental. His name is in the arrest order issued by Defense Secretary and martial law administrator Delfin Lorenzana dated June 5.
The former mayor denied involvement in the Maute attack on Marawi.
