MUST WATCH: De Lima Criticized President Duterte Over Obama's Remarks

MUST WATCH: De Lima Criticized President Duterte Over Obama's Remarks

Senator Leila de Lima has some words of advise to President Rodrigo Duterte after he slammed US President Barack Obama.

Senator Leila de Lima has something to say about President Rodrigo Duterte’s statement against the United States of America, including to President Barack Obama.

In a video posted on Twitter  by Jenny Dongon, the lady senator, who is one of the receiving ends of Duterte’s foul words, advise the president to be careful with his words because he is now the chief executive officer of the Philippines.

According to De Lima, Duterte must carefully examine his words before letting go of them because whatever he says forms part of a policy and becomes an official statement.

In an ambush interview, Sen. De Lima said, “Pangulo po siya, and therefore, anuman po ang lumalabas sa bibig niya ay kailangan pinag-iisipan muna nang husto at hindi padalos-dalos dahil nagiging policy iyan and official statement”.

She added that it is not pleasant to see and hear a president doing such things against another state leader, especially Obama.

“So kung may ganyan na mga pambu-bully, hindi po maganda iyan”, she added.

Duterte’s words against the US president before he left for Laos to attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on Monday afternoon was seen to be the reason behind Obama’s backing out to their set meeting on the sidelines of the summit.

A reporter asked what he will say and do once the issue on the extrajudicial killings in the Philippine shall be brought up during his meeting with Obama but he responded with a high tone saying, “Wala akong pakialam sa kanya. Who is he?”.

“President Obama will not be holding a bilaterial meeting with President Duterte of the Philippines”, said U.S. National Security Council spokesman Ned Price to answer for Obama.

Obama will be talking to South Korean President Park Geun-hye, instead.

Duterte claimed that the cancellation of the bilateral talks between him and Obama was a “mutual decision”.

“While the immediate cause was my strong comments to certian press questions that elicited concern and distress, we also regret it came across as a personal attack on the US President”, said Duterte in a statement read by Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella.

Duterte explained that his sole intention was to build an independent policy while strengthening the country’s relationship with other states, especially the US that has been an ally of the Philippines for a long time.

Duterte to Obama: “Sino ka?” - Must Watch!

Duterte to Obama: “Sino ka?” - Must Watch!

“Who is he?”

US Pres. Obama Said Duterte Administration Can Make Phillipines Fastest Richest Growing Country

US Pres. Obama Said Duterte Administration Can Make Phillipines Fastest Richest Growing Country

US President Barack Obama became the first head of government to congratulate Rodrigo Duterte, relaying at the same time Washington’s congratulations for the conduct of the May 9 elections. were emblematic of the Philippines’ vibrant democracy.Duterte is no ordinary politician. He is what can be described as a ‘meta-candidate’, one who changes the very conception of and expectations from a presidential candidate.

In some ways, he singlehandedly changed the rules of the game. Throughout the campaign period, he crossed one redline after the other, and yet he managed to build a massive nationwide following. He reminded his opponents that presidency is a matter of life and death, of going to the distance, of risking it all.Despite rapid economic growth in recent years, the Philippines still suffers from one of the highest rates of unemployment and poverty in Asia — an uber-dynamic region that hosts nine out of thirteen economic miracles in modern times.
Strongman candidates like Duterte and Marcos Jr. were in a particularly favorable position to present themselves as single-minded, decisive leaders who could bring about overnight solutions to the country’s perennial predicaments.

One thing to note, Duterte is a seasoned lawyer and strategist. He knows exactly the weakness of his rivals. His brazen antics confused them but his pinpoint accuracy and irreversible timing battle plan outsmarted them all, grabbing an unprecedented victory with great finesse.duterte truly loves a filipino persons.no matter how high class corrupt and criminals if you againts the laws you must be punish Obama said.
